Anguish

Upon the high held glory days I began to languish
In my deepest and darkest anguish
Only left with my evening dream and morning thought
Yet even those were consumed by what is sought
For my each and every dreaded moment
Was filled with unrelenting torment
So unrelenting
So unforgiving
The fall after obtaining high lust
And turning into ash and dust
Unrelenting is the darkness that claims the soul
And turns the heart black as coal
Unforgiving seems the life that I had forsaken
As within me the hatred began to awaken
But then I fell
How long I can never tell
For darkness clouded my mind

About poetryoftheasian

I've been writting poetry for only a few years as a little hobby, and have had a few published in a small poetry contest. I currently want to write more and improve as much as I can. Any tips or feedback would be much appreciated. It is possible that after a few weeks I will revise parts of some of my poems.
